The story of fairies - part 1

I have always loved stories. And was even more drawn to a product if it had a good story behind it.
I think that this is the main reason I felt the need to make some changes in my shop. I just needed a more personal story.
And today I will tel you the story of the merry-go-round necklaces.

There once where two necklaces with small (as in 21x10 mm  small) merry-go-round charms. And each of them had some beautiful cloisonne beads one with a green and blue and the other with pink, burgundy and black.
The details on the merry-go-rounds are so accurate and beautiful that one can only wonder... were these real in a previous life? And if they were, for what creatures? Maybe for fairies.....small fairies, smaller then butterflies come from time to time to relax and go round and round....
And now...you have the chance to wear a trinket left from a fairy....

Changes

As for a few days Lili's 23 has become Lili's 23 wishes not a big change, just an improvement.
And you can also see a small description in the about section.

As you may have noticed I changed the blog's name, along with the facebook page and etsy shop.

But don't worry I only changed the displayed name, the url adresses are the same (the etsy one is changed but they will automatically re-direct you to the new one)
I did this because I feel the need to make it more personal in order to have a better branding.
I hope you all like it even more and when the new banner comes along I am waiting for opinions.

Makeover

Hello, hello

First of all I hope you all had a great long weekend with the International Workers Day :).
With that much time off,  could think things through and made some decisions.
First: I am thinking about some changes in my shop and brand...so the first thing is to have a makeover of the banner. So if you have any ideas they are all welcomed. I am brainstorming over here....

For now I am just thinking of a way to tie together all the different styles that are in my shop.

Work in progress

I'm baack!
My batteries are full and I'm looking forward to tell you what I've done these past 4 days. I spent a hole day in the sun, picking up little flowers to press them and use later....
And later was the next day, when I thought: how about some rings and brooches with the flowers? ( and yes the rings are a new product for me)
I did had some requests with nature theme and inspiration, so....why not?

There you have it: the most terrible pictures ever, but I was really excited about the results.
I made a few rings and brooches all with dried flowers and glued together with epoxy rasin so they would stay nice and clear and also keep the colour.
I will take some good shoots to these ones, but I wanted to share with you my new work in progress collection inspired by nature.

Long weekend

Just to give you a heads up that I'll be out this weekend and the next two days( 1st of May is the International Workers Day, so I am off from work), but I will return on Wednesday with a nice surprise.

Inspiration

Hello world!

I was reading the other day, on a food blog, an article about the things that make you vibrate, the things that get you inspired and get you to move on. So how does this inspiration thing working? You see something you like, you feel it tells you something and try to make that something in an object (my case: jewellry).
So I was thinking I can share with you the things/ blogs/ pictures that inspire me and my work, just to see how you can find ideas for color combinations, textures and various mixtures.

Fabulous Feedback
